Matt Walters is a Registered Forester in Mississippi and Alabama (#2302) with over two decades of hands-on experience in forest, habitat, and land management. Since founding Walters Forestry Services in 2003, and later partnering with Sustainable Resource Managers, LLC in 2018, Matt has built a career rooted in stewardship, precision, and client-focused service. A graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Forestry, Matt is also a certified prescribed fire manager and Tree Farm Inspector. His expertise spans timber appraisals and sales, prescribed burning, pine and hardwood timber marking, sustainable habitat management, and comprehensive land management planning. Over the years, he's developed a specialty in wildlife-oriented forest management, collaborating with both state and private wildlife biologists to help landowners enhance habitat and achieve their conservation goals. Matt has been a licensed real estate salesperson in Mississippi since 2007 and joined America's Land Partners in 2025. His deep understanding of Mississippi's regional land markets-shaped by years of forestry work and client relationships-makes him a valuable resource for property acquisition, liquidation, enhancement, and long-term land strategy.
