Lauren Hofing, REALTOR®, SRES® (Seniors Real Estate Specialist®), specializes in helping people confidently navigate major housing transitions throughout the Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, and Parrish markets along Florida's Gulf Coast. Whether relocating to Florida, purchasing a second home, deciding whether to age in place, or helping an aging parent transition to a new residence, Lauren provides thoughtful guidance that helps clients make informed decisions with confidence.
Before becoming a REALTOR®, Lauren worked for a corporate relocation company, where she helped individuals and families navigate moves across different markets, including both temporary and long-term housing. That experience taught her that every detail matters and that asking the right questions early, often leads to better decisions—and helps clients discover what's truly important before they even realize it themselves.
She carries that same philosophy into her real estate practice today.
Rather than simply helping clients find a house, Lauren focuses on helping them determine the right home, the right community, and the right next step based on their unique priorities, goals, and stage of life.
Lauren also made the decision to relocate to Lakewood Ranch herself, giving her firsthand understanding of what it's like to move to an unfamiliar area and decide where to put down roots.
Lakewood Ranch has been recognized as the nation's top-selling multigenerational master-planned community for multiple consecutive years and features more than 30 distinct villages, each offering its own location, amenities, character, and living experience. Understanding the differences between those villages—and helping clients evaluate the opportunities and tradeoffs of each—is a key part of Lauren's guidance.
To simplify what can often feel like an overwhelming process, Lauren developed her Right Place Method.
The Right Place Method helps clients move through important housing decisions by:

As an SRES®, Lauren understands that later-life housing decisions involve much more than buying or selling a home. They often include financial, emotional, legal, and logistical considerations. When appropriate, she connects clients with trusted professionals such as estate planning attorneys, elder law attorneys, senior move managers, professional organizers, estate sale companies, and other local resources to help make the process as smooth and coordinated as possible.
Around 80% of Lauren's business comes from repeat clients and referrals, reflecting the trust she builds through patience, communication, and a genuine commitment to her clients' long-term success. She believes the best decisions happen when people feel informed, supported, and never pressured.
For Lauren, success isn't measured by simply helping someone buy or sell a home. It's helping them feel confident they made the right decision for the life they want to live long after the move is complete.
